Dear Angelo; This belt is from Thailand - Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand, which was destroyed by the Burmese long time ago .... but still worth while to visit.... I have a few of these absolutely beauties in my collection. High silver and manufactured with high artistic skills. I always buy them if I come across a reasonably priced piece - they are getting rare! With kind regards. Peter
Thanx Peter..was asking $ 400…..
Again Beautiful and in perfect condition, especially the belt itself, not often so complete. Peter does have a most stunning collection of balkan and Russian buckels. A pity you could agree with the seller.
Gr. Ingrid.
i should have got !!! maybe still there!!!
A give away.Run and get it.
I knew !!! what i was thinking !!!
Dear Angelo. Take it for USD 400!!! This piece weighs surely around 350 grams or so, hence, absolutely worth the price. These belts used to be manufactured in high silver. Also, the buckle is very artistically done. Furthermore, the center part of the belt is quite unusual, the first time, that I am seeing it in this belt, hence, rather rare. I hope that you can get it... Regards. Peter
Dear Angelo; Above are some of my Ayutthaya belts for comparison. With kind regards. Peter
Beautiful Peter, Good comparisons for Angelo. Gr. Ingrid
