  • These are lovely, Peter. So old and smooth that the design has almost rubbed away. They look a little  like snake bracelets. I'm interested to discover whether they are hollow and whether they have pebbles inside.

  • Dear Thelma; Many thanks for your message. Yes, these snake (they are large, hence, I believe that they are armlets rather than bracelets) armlets are hollow and have small metal pieces inside. Did you see the repairs? I just love such pieces as they are original, old and have really been used but at the same time also been very much taken care of by the previous owner. I know that most of the collectors love perfect pieces, which however, means that they are newer or in the worst case fakes.... with kind regards. Peter
  • These are lovely pieces Peter. They look very much worn and repaired which means that they have been used for quite some time. Very nice to have these Peter though I remember that you have posted sometime ago some similar pieces if I am not mistaken... Thanks for sharing these fancy and rare items..

  • Thanks Mustafa. Yes, I have several versions of these armlets - I can't get enough of it... Regards. Peter
