Dear Ingrid and Lynn; Many thanks for your comments. This pair of anklets is definitely from Yemen but they are extremely rare to find. One has to consider that especially the south of Yemen has been influenced by India, Baluchistan and also Sumatra. You can find belts and necklaces on Socotra Island off the coast of south Yemen, which are almost identical with those in Sumatra/Indonesia. With kind regards and best wishes. Peter
