African chevron beads

I am not sure about their origin but I would say likely Ghana. Any ideas?

    these are a lovely strand -probably Venetian 1900s individually lampworked beads, but while the beads look similar to chevron beads from the side view, they are only chevron, (or rosetta or star beads) if you can see a layered star pattern (that goes all the way through) around the hole at the ends- but these are wound into shape, with the blue and red stripes added on top of the white glass as trails.
