  • Wow! This looks gorgeous! Very beautiful work: Congratulations!

This type of bead is also often found in Harar/Ethiopia, though I am not sure whether made there or imported from Yemen...

  • Beautiful necklace Ait in such a top condition, and clearly marked.  It does look as if it has always been in store, because you do not see any wear., love the clean work.

Betty this is not Ethiopian work, also Ethiopian silver work is never marked.

  • Gorgeous!

  • thank you betty, thank you ingrid. they have actualy traces of wear, they are not clean now, difficult to see but after cleaning, some dents and hollows came out and the surface is all smooth whatis not easy to become in few times wear, all the small beads are smooth and equal what needs time and lot of polishing

the oxydation also is a sign for it, i had to clean realy deep with teeth bruch and cleaning stuff to get it ok. the prayerholder has also traces of wear throw the chain and the opning

  • thank you nada, i have a belt from yemen that is unusual, will post it tomorrow
