this is an Arbore woman

of Ethiopia, she is wearing such an Aluminium spiral earring as shown on my previous photo. It's exactly the same type of earring, but the one I have is from the Hamar People.The photo is not by me and I have no commercial rights to it. It is just to illustrate how These spiral earrings are worn.They live in the Southern parts of Ethiopia, near Chew Bahir, the Hamar (from whom my Alu earring is), also live in the Southern parts) .

  • @No Chantal, I wrote it on top, I have no Commercial rights for this Picture, as it is not by me. It is just to Show how they wear These spiral earrings. Their holes in the earlobes must be very large! it would not fit us!! But one can always attach it to a European size earring as a pendant....(I do this with many earrings that are too thick to go through my small holes in the ear).
