@Thank you Akkie. I am very pleased that this needle fits through my ear, so sometimes I can wear it as an earring, and perhaps sometimes in my hair when I put it up (in summer when it is hot). Nice to have found the photo in Africa Adorned and some more information (Oromo-Borana people, and in the Northern Province of Welo (which lies south of Tigray, my "favourite" province, where I support a child since years..... that is my personal connection to Ethiopia.).
