I like the design on the ends of this, which appears to be the fish talisman. What is the diameter?
This fibula is 2.5 inches across, Yes there are fish talisman on this side, the other side there is a hamsa on one side and a leaf, or floral design on the other. This piece is quite heavy.

the origine is roman. the oldest one found in northafrica was also roman ( bronze)
