  • Gorgeous pendant!

  • Oh Nada what a beautuy, is this meant as a pendant?  The eye(loop) looks so small for such a weight and size. I love also the compleetness of all the bells.  These types of belss with their floral decoration can also be found with the scroll boxes of the better workmanship.  Another proof that skills are being imported and adapted. Gr. Ingrid.

  • Thank you Ingrid and Betty. This pendant is not a stand alone. It is part of an elaborate necklace that is so heavy. Thus the loop on top whose purpose is to pin the main pendant to the dress with a hook. The openenings on either side of the pendant connect to multiple filigree chains which connect with smaller enamel pieces.  The resulting necklace is very substantial and impressive.

  • Here is a picture of the front part of a necklace :

And here is a more recent necklace:

  • Thanks for the info and the pictures, Nada. These necklaces are really impressive. But I'm sure your pendant will look stunning even as a stand-alone!

  • Oh ...oh my goodness, what a treasure. I see now that the top addition is not an eye but part of the decoration.

Nada, what a piece, My eyes are like saucers.  Stunning, stunning.  Thank you for elaborating on it.  I am going to look at it several times.!

  • wow gorgeous, love the necklace when it is complete!

  • Also the recent one is beautiful. It has even more chains attached. Himachal Padres.  Where is that exactly?

  • Thank you ladies for your comments.

Marie-Ange, yes I know I wish I had the complete necklace which can weigh 7 to 8 kg. I'm lucky to have this pendant!!! Ingrid, Himachal Pradesh is a Northern province of India, close to Kashmir and you have a very keen eye (you really could make a fine detective!). That thing at the top is not just decoration, there is a little bail. The necklace is so heavy that main pendant is attached to the dress with a chain and a hook. I'll try to find a picture to show you how it is worn.

  • Very nice,i love it!
