    these pictures were never published (bar a couple) and they come from the famous french photographer/ethnologist BESANCENOT who toured morocco in the early 1930's. he eventually ended publishing the first comprehensive books on moroccan jewellery and costume "Bijoux du maroc" and "Costumes du maroc"

     

    I hope your Moroccan odissey was as rewarding as BESANCENOT's  :-)
