Thanks to everyone. This has that quality I love in Yemeni jewelry...it is substantial in weight and has a durable feel when worn, but so nicely balanced that it does not seem too heavy. While the detail is beautiful it is not overly delicate. While I have grown to love my Tunisian pieces, I consider good Yemeni jewelry to be far superior to most of the Tunisian pieces. I only wish I had been able to spend more time in Yemen.

Beautiful elaborate wedding necklace (Muria) This necklace is unusual long most of the ones I know are a lot shorter (less pendants.) Lovely piece and in such a good condition.
