A beautiful piece, with high quality restrung elements I feel .....Another truffle ? ;-)
I`m not sure this earns its` place in full truffledom - maybe I should call it a semi-truffle. Though really I`m not sure considering the cost of real ethnic amber these days.
Although the silk it`s strung on is a bit grubby, I would say it has been restrung too. The order and combination of the beads seems to indicate that to me.
Beautiful warm colors, glowing catching the sun or light. These beads are also so lovely to the touch. And than the each precious antique silver beads to accomplish them. You must get lots of admiring and envious looks when you are wearing this for me delicious necklace. And than to think you have to real red amber beads so rare.! Top.Congratulations again Frankie.
Many thanks, Ingrid! It is certainly my new favourite necklace due to its` warmth and texture (lovely old worn silver).
I think perhaps the photo shows some of the amber as a little more red than it really is. But there is one bead which is definitely real cherry amber and another that has streaks of red in it.
I love the variety of silver bead design in this necklace, very exciting and elegant.
Thank you for your happy-making comments, Patti. I`m hope you know already that I appreciate your approval.

Many thanks to you, Johanne, for your kind words.
I love your own Balkan knecklace!
