How wonderful to peek inside and see this glimpse of the sacred text.
Yes, it appears to be a bound folio of the text. At least to my eyes, it appears to have been covered at one time and the threads of the binding appear to be still there. The dealer opened it and showed the text to my husband, but I have never even touched the prayers, only this one time did I open the sliding top. Thank you for your comment.

Oh, yes, now that you told me, I can see them, too. I had the top open only long enough to take the photo, because I did not want to expose the paper to dust and light any longer than necessary. Thanks, ait ouakli.
