A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

A three-pointed 'paralı arkalık' (waistband with coins, worn on the back) for women. From central Anatolia, mid-20th century. Reassembled entirely on new cloth, in order to wear it during folk dance appearances. 210 late-Ottoman & early-Republican (middle-sized) coins (1900-'43), three larger Ottoman silver coins (ca. 1800), plastic beads and a narrow card-woven woollen belt adorned with glass rings & animal hair tassels. Purchased in Konya in 1994. (Inv.n° müç179 - Kavak Costume Collection-Antwerpen/Belgium).
