This is absolutely so like prehistoric carvings in bone etc. from the area of Russia through the Caucasus-the oldest one was found in Wittenburg and is called the Wittenburg Venus. This one cant be as old, but I assume that there is some kind of reference to or quoting of the idea of the great goddess. Not that anybody knows for sure what these carvings were used for at the time, but they suspect fertility charms. Does anyone else know about it? There are archeology sites on the web that have photos of quite a few of these carvings.
