  • this bracelet is a real gem!

     

    very very very scarce, it belongs to the very early Ait ouaouzguit bracelets bearing the gross glass-like enamel

     

    i think there is only one published drawing of this type and to my knowledge, there is not a single famous berber collection having one

    It was first and only documented by the the french ethnologist and painter "jean besancenot" and one can find the drawing of this silver bracelet on his famous book "bijoux du maroc" wich is by the way a very scarce and dear book in its original first edition

     

  • That's a great piece. A bit rough, but with plenty of character and quality, and Aysis says, rare indeed. I think his info sounds right as usual. Keep this one - don't sell it (if you are also a seller): it will go up in value because of rarity.
