Lovely photo, Eva. And one can appreciate the size of the bi-cone pendant here. I like the other round pendant too.
@Thank you Thelma! I wanted to add this earlier, but then I forgot.
Both stumming beauties, Eva. Thanks for sharing with us this little masterpiece.of coucrse the pic. isnt bad either. And great display of Senegal (Toucouleur?)/Malian jewels.
@Thank you Chantal. The two ladies are dressed in two different styles, the bride is "modern", the aunt is traditional. In the south more and more brides want to be "modern", and use a White veil. I prefer the traditional Sonrai-Tuareg headdress........... (which is not seen on this photo).
Hi Eva, I entirely agree with you although they are also splendid as they are now......
Beautiful! Can't go wrong with white and gold :)
@Thanks for your comments and the feature. For weddings people in Mali dress up a lot, much more than e.g. here in Switzerland. They are THE events for them, and the events of giving a name to a newborn baby is often also celebrated in a big way.
Beautiful woman ,, great photo.
