  • wow this must be a realy old ring, have never seen one like it, lovely stones.

  • How intriguing to see this type of bead set into a ring. It`s a first for me. Altogether a super ring!

  • super ring, i like it a lot and it is new for me this kind of beads ona ring. special piece

  • Very special and lovely!

  • On a note of caution I would warn that there are both modern and fake examples of these lovely old beads abounding on the market. Many seem to arise in Thailand.

  • Yes Frankie,  I know that.  But I specialize in ancient beads, especially Indo-Tibetan ones, and these are VERY MUCH the real thing.  They were made in a mechanically etched manner that nobody is imitating, and the patina and everything about them speaks to ancient.  But the caution is a good one.  This, however, is an authentic old ring, sourced long before they were making those fakes!!  Liz

  • Hi Liz! Didn`t mean to imply that the beads in your gorgeous ring were fakes. It was just intended as a general caution.

Do you wear it yourself? Love it - it`s so unusual.

  • Stunning ring, wonderful carnelians!
