Can you show the back? The horizontal bail might be missing, and the vertical one added to make it wearable. Lovely piece with very very fine silverwork.
lynn ..i don't have with me …but missing the lid …..i think was meant to be like this by the maker..
2 turqoises in the bottom section not there ..instead there is a grid design…and if you look the top fligree design is different then the bottom …so if was originally horizontal ..left and right don't match ..which are suppose to do so … try to flip the picture ..if you can..you'll see some doesn't work

In the points on the top, can you detect any difference in the soldering of the points? The bottom ornament has three concentric wire, the top has just one and in other photos it is open there for the string to pass through. Here is a similar piece being worn on the right hand side. Really great piece. I have two rings with this kind of work on them.
Hey Lynn …i know what you mean …with the dealer at the flea market we examined it with the lens …no marking of new or old soldering removed or replaced ..and to to do a new soldering you need to take the stone out ….unless you do with laser…but beside all the bails … the 2 turquoises missing are the enigma ……….she is asking $ 150……I'm becoming poor !!!!
