Two fish amulets worn as necklaces

Two fish necklaces, silver with niello. They each have a long chain. One fish is missing two coin dangles. Perhaps the number of (five) coins provided the wearer with same protective function as a khamsa. These may be Circassian, an ethnic group found in Syria and Turkey. The coins point to Ottoman era.
