  • To my mind there are far too many of these around, and they lack character, depth, and fine detail. I'd concentrate far more on the more significant pieces you also buy: these are suitable for quick trading (some women will wear one as a pendant on a chain) - but they are not great pieces for a collector.
  • Of commercial interest only - not good artefacts for a collection. Note that e.g. the circles are not well finished, etc. They are crudely finished and even though they may have some patina, they are definitely not very old. There are vastly better Turkoman pieces to buy - like a number of those which you have bought yourself.
