  • I am absolutely no expert in anything. I have never seen a dress in this style either, turkoman dresses, from my experience, are wider and more square than this and the sleeves are in proportion to the dress. All I can say is that it does not appear to be Turkoman , nor even Baluchi embroidery, but, I suppose, that does not preclude somebody in that area from wearing it.

  • it looks to me like Suzani embroidery especially the flowers around the hem. -Uzbek?
  • What an interesting piece! It's gorgeous, but the sleeves are really long...perhaps on purpose to make them look very round, when stuffed together on the arms?
