I love both the stones and the subdued gilding. Makes it look very elegant.
Thanx betty …took me a while to clean this piece ..it was pitch black…i had to be more aggressive …with baking soda and brush ...and though was no gilding at all …but …...
Kisses……….Angelo
You did a great job cleaning it, Angelo. This piece really grows on you the longer you look at it.
This is among my all-time favorite tumars. I was watching it at auction and I am glad you got it. Sometimes Turkoman pieces are too regimented and formulaic for me, but this one has soul in great abundance! Angelo I am slowly going through all your photos since my return. :)
Hey Lynn …thanx ..and welcome back !! i was wondering where you were !! Are you OK ???
