A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

Women’s belt. Part of a traditional festive costume from the Turkish Alevi villages in the northern part of the Burgas province (Bulgaria), among others Dobra Polyana village (named 'Orhan Selim' by the Turks), mid-20th century. Made of alpaka (nickel silver), a silvery-coloured alloy of 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc; mounted on leather. The costume was purchased (as a whole) in Bursa in April 1990.
