  • Excellent photo and illustration of wear. The Tunisian fibules are so distinctive as well.
  • This photo is a wonderful record of the use of many traditional adornments. I tend to collect things in isolation and this illustrates the striking sense of  ensemble.
  • I have taken to trying to collect jewelry in groups from some of the pics I see on the site -- of course this is too too expensive for me and usually I can't find everything but it  gives me a purpose and some direction in collecting various pieces. I think the old photos and post cards on this site are one of its most outstanding characteristics, absolutely invaluable to a collector.
