  • WOW Angelo. Is this your January purchase? It looks great! Regards. Peter
  • from the same friend ..peter …looks that you did some January purchase !!!!

  • Can you see me drool :)) ?

And yes, you both have been busy jewelry shopping recently and with great success, Peter and Angelo.

Maybe you should invite your friend to join EJ, Angelo? We could then see even more of this splendid Tunisian collection :)

  • Dear Betty ..thanx ..believe me ..you have to see me drool…when he send me pictures!!!! I cry !!!and my face turns green !!!

he is very descreet…but very proud …he is 78 …all almost collected in fields while working in tunisia,Morocco,algeria..Iran ..1950/1980…and when he buys at auction..he lets the auction house bid for him …..

  • Dear Angelo;
I am currently at my home in France, unpacking "deliveries" and rearranging some of my Omani collection. I will post some more Omani items in the next couple of days. At the end of this month, I will finalize the purchase of a home in Central Switzerland - one part of a two-generation villa from 1780! The jewelry will fit perfectly into this house.... Anyhow, this does not deter me from buying jewelry... I always find a way. I got to know an owner of an auction house in the US. He is now "feeding" me with great jewelry... It is great to have friends! Peter
  • Dear Peter, let us know when you start looking for someone to polish your collection in its new residence :) Kind regards, Betty

  • I 'm happy for you Peter ...

  • Betty ..Congrats ..you found a job …i need that too !!!!

Peter …we are just jocking …your collection is magnificent ……we should be happy of what we have and achieved in life ...

I posted my friend picture …not to make everybody jelous (I am !!)…but to share a great passion we have and to see jewels maybe that we never seen before !!!

    Kisses

    Angelo

  • A very nice collection.

Don't despair Angelo, you can still find such jewels in Tunisia too if your are kee to travel there.

The most difficult ones to obtain are those with enamel.

Congratulate your friend for his comprehensive and exhastive collection and please do invite him to join the forum, otherwise we would be very hungry to see more of his collection.

    Thanx

  • Wow! All pairs! I'm envious :) I went through a phase - a short one fortunately - when I only wanted to get pairs, but then I saw the bracelets that I was letting go because they were not part of a pair and my resolve weakened. This is an impressive collection.
