  • Very nice, I have never seen this type of thing before (the form of the pendant)! I assume it is a kind of a pendant, the round intricate decorations like Arabic writing on the sides and the bottom are untypical of the Tuareg, but perhaps in Algeria they use them, or it was taken over in Mauretania. Anyway, it IS Tuareg for sure, and a lovely piece!

  • Thanks Eva Lea and Marie-Ange, and thanks for the info - I do not know much about this piece.  It is about 3" across, and Sterling Silver. Ir is 70mm x 57mm x 3mm
