Traditional bridal/festive costume from the Urfa province. 1980s. From the Arabic speaking population of the region. Robe and caftan were purchased in the Urfa Çarşısı (Covered Bazaar) in 1987. The ‘başlık’ (headgear) is antique. (Kavak Folklor Ekibi & Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
