Tlila Necklace from Moknine

Purchased new at the Wednesday Moknine jewelers' market. Gilt silver with glass beads and seed pearls. The major difference between the tlila necklaces of Moknine and Mahdia is the construction of the dangles with coins. In Mahdia the coins are suspended from a bib of long pearl strings, while the Moknine models have a shorter row of lozenge-shaped pearls instead.
