Superb bracelet Eva. Very unusual. Had never seen one like that before.....Influences from other parts of Africa? A great find.
@Thank you Chantal, it is indeed possible to have influences from other parts. I include a small map, Tigray lies near to Eritrea, but also near to the Red Sea, so many influences are possible.Personally I like this province (and Welo) the most because of the holy and fascinating City of Aksum.

@Hi Marie-Ange, thanks. It is a Little tight, inspite of the hinge to open. It fits, but tight, therefore I do not wear it when it is hot, only in cold weather (then my muscles get smaller and everything fits better and there is no perspiring underneath.........). The earrings are good silver, they are from Tigray also, but not matching the bracelet. I just put them for decoration. I wear them very often, but
attach them to small other earrings as pendants.
