Noblewoman's gold and turquoise temple pendants. Tibet, Lhasa; early 20th c. Height: 13.6 cm. Gold, turquoise. Shown in Truus Daalder, *Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment*, p. 282 (described pp. 282-3). This is about the best quality turquoise used. But see also the box posted adjacently.
