this piece was bought from the collection of German Sahara and Tuareg expert Göttler. It is quite old, the back side is made of iron.

  • @Thank you very much Ineke. Due to the light reflections (after polishing - Prior to taking the photo), it was not easy to get a good Picture. I bought it many years ago, and up to today, I think, it remains the most expensive one in my ethnic collection..

  • @thank you Ingrid, it is quite a special piece. Interesting also, that the backside is iron. This has some protective reasons, I was told. It is from the Hoggar (South Algeria), while most of my Tuareg pieces are from Mali or Niger, except 2  other triangular pendants ( which are  from Ineke).
