Interesting piece, lovely and very interesting decoration. Love the brasspoints add to its elegance. The circles on the bangles do they represent like in Ehtiopia the all protective eye? Who wear these amulets?
Gr. Ingrid.
@Thank you Ingrid. I showed the complete Piece earlier, it also consists of an Amulett box on top. It is worn on the back of the head of the Tuareg women. This one is from Southern Algeria. I will try to make a link to the complete piece

this is the link to the complete Piece with the Amulette box on top.
@Thank you Akkie. When I bought this, it was quite expensive. Meanwhile I have seen similar pieces on Ebay for 1/3 of the Price I paid......... (not so nice to know). But it is really old and the top part of good silver (the backside is made of - iron!)
love it Eva, on most the top piece is missing, great to see it in tact!!
@Marie-Ange really? I was very disappointed recently, when I saw such a Piece for sale on Ebay for about 1/4 of what I had paid about 2-3 years ago.... But perhaps some part was missing (e.g the top), I dont remember now and it is no more there.
I know it is disappointing to find out you have paid more then another seller is selling now but that happens all the time depending on seller. Just love the item you have as it is beautiful!! xx
Sellers sell at all different prices. For us, we sell according to what we paid for an item. Sometimes if we love an item, we will pay a lot for it up front and then have to sell it for more. We often find Tuareg jewelry right here in Tucson at the gem show for 1/4 of the cost in the country of origin! Go figure!
Eva, I am tuning in with Marie-ange, it happens all the time .Sometimes pieces do come on the market because the new owner doesn.t know what they are dealing with. And than the lucky one is the finder but..... yoy did find really a strong lovely warm piece. . If it was ugle and you paid a lot that would be horrible, but in yours...a piece with character.
