South Yemen

Another find from Yemen. This is a very nice and complete version of a choker necklace from Southern Yemen, probably Araq, Shabwa (as suggested by M. Ransom in her description of a similar piece).I love the small khamsas and the decorative elements integrated with the chains. Unfortunately very heavy to wear. Being more a "wearer" than a "real" collector, I am therefore considering to let it go, but haven't made up my mind yet...
