    This Sarah is made by the Marsh Arabs of Iraq/Iran from the 1930s most likely.

    Yes, I second that.  You had a compact with niello and filigree, probably the same workmanship and provenance.  These were made for export and one sees them with the sweetheart bracelets from WW II.  Typically they feature scenes on them.
