Silver ring

Silver ring from India, possibly Rajasthan. Each silver ball is wired to the next and attached as a clump to the ring back. The balls move a bit as the ring is worn which feels like wearing bells.

    I thought it vas similar to those rajahstani pendants made from drops mesh that keep moving, but your ring is even more complexe for the balls are not mere silver drops but they are made to be hollow from silver sheets!!! which must make a lovely sound.

  • Thank you Alaa. Yes, the sound is lovely. And for the size of the ring it is remarkably light weight. I have seen a few others of this type. Linda Pastorino has  one posted on this site.
