The small granulated beads seem Yemeni but what about the big ones?

jose. i know them from afganistan and pakistan area, i have a necklace with 3 big beads like yours.

Yes, the granulated are from Yemen. The largest ones looks like those of Turkmenistan that can also be found in other countries of Central and South Asia.

here the photo of the necklace i have with the same beads. it is from pakistan border with afghanistan, bought there 40 years ago -+

they are also made in yemen and egypt too but more afganistan and pakistan and some regions arround. i remember that i had 2 pieces made in iran and in a necklace with old iran beads. i sold for a high price and the colector was verry happy

i think that they are made in many regions because they are easy to make,look nice and you can feel with a necklace spaces if you have less beads
