  • Yes, the granulated are from Yemen. The largest ones looks like those of Turkmenistan that can also be found in other countries of Central and South Asia.

  • they are also made in yemen and egypt too but more afganistan and pakistan and some regions arround. i remember that i had 2 pieces made in iran and in a necklace with old iran beads. i sold for a high price and the colector was verry happy

  • i think that they are made in many regions because they are easy to make,look nice and you can feel with a necklace spaces if you have less beads
