Is this a fingerring or a bracelet? (Sorry, my mother tongue is not English, I do not know if the expression band is a bracelet or a fingerring). It looks very nice, I have never seen this kind, but would tend to see it as a fingerring..

yes it is worn on the finger and maybe sometimes in the hair? I purchased it as a ring. it was my own for years and has a nice patina.

Nice photos. Where are these woman from? Morocco ? The mixtures of jewelry that are worn is confusing to me.
the 4 touareg ladies are from hoggar region in Algeria. the one allone is from the region between ainguezam ( south Algeria ) until Agadez in Niger.
