Set 1/8 - Bersheeba - Palestine

This is a complete matching set of ornaments. It is extremely rare to obtain such a complete set. Furthermore, the quality of the individual pieces is superb! It definitely did not belong to a poor women. The entire set weighs 2.265 grams. Most of the weight can be attributed to the veil.

  • This is an astounding set of important cultural artifacts.  I hope you will be able to exhibit them Peter, this far surpasses any examples that I have seen published.  Can you imagine the care that this woman took of her treasures, to still have them all together in a set?  She must have been rich as well, both to have received them in the first place, and to never have had to sell parts and break up the set.  What an opportunity to purchase these, and what a responsibility to own them!  Congratulations Peter!!
