  • Betty it looks to me as a top part of a cross the bail is also an unusual way. To me it is a part of a cross given a new life. 

  • That was my first thought too, but then I thought it looks to big to be just the top part. The complete cross must have been an impressive piece, which would also explain the huge bail! I actually like it very much ... but know I wonder what the main part looked like...
