    It's great to see how people solve the problem of broken amber repair. It adds to the piece. Does the scented paste still give off a scent?

    I also love the use of the broken and re drilled chevron piece ... this is common practice in Mauritania...

    Frequently very rare and expensive Morfia ( murakhad locally) beads are broken and the pieces shared betwwen members of a family for luck.

    A Morfia bead value around £150 to £500 each depending on condition and design!
