These are particularly lovely. How long are they?
Thank you Lynn, these pins are 12cm long, 2,5cm wide
lovely too, another style (not Ethiopian)
Really Eva, i thought that these pins look the most Ethiopian :-)..a bit like a cross..
All the 18 pins are for sale if you are interested
thank you so much for your input, i have learned a lot!
Perhaps I am wrong, I am not the ultimate expert! Lets see what Ingrid says, she knows most about Ethiopian jewellery. Perhaps I just have never seen any like these.......could be possible! The little decorations at the three edges (consisting of 3 tiny rounds) could be Ethiopian. I hope Ingrid will comment on this (it interests me!).
P.S. Shoudl Ingrid confirm that they are Ethiopian, I would love to buy some!
:-)
It seems they are Ethiopian!. I wanted to send you a msg but it is only possible when we are friends on Ethnic Jewels. So I sent you a friend request.
O, that is great news! Ethiopian after all, and now we also know about the other pins thanks to Ingrid's useful comments. All Ethiopia on the flea market, unbelievable!
