Ineke, As I do not know much about Fatima, or Khamza's. Is it only worn by women and worn as a pendant of on a chain? Thank you Ingrid.
Hello Ingrid, Hands of Fatima s or Khamza (number 5 are worn by women, but also they hang them on the wall.
The open hand means STOP, and is to protect from the evil eye.
The Tuareg people call this Khomeissa.
It can be worn as a pendant or necklace/ leather cord.
