Past and Present

Here is an interesting comparison of two traditional bracelets from Oman. The one on the left is an old silver bracelet, made and worn before gold became the preferred metal. The one on the right is nearly the same design, re-interpreted and executed in 21 carat gold. Interestingly the gold bracelet is only a bit lighter than the silver one!!

  • I agree. Silver shows its age and beauty in infinitely deeper fashion than gold.
