    Do you know from which part of yemen these come?

    I am also curious to know if the main part are hollow or just a plaque?

    Dear Alaa; Many thanks for your message. The plaques are not flat, they are like flat boxes, unlike the other, single ornament, which I have posted separately. I do not have my Yemeni books with me but will let you know once I find out more. With kind regards. Peter
