The enamel colours and the patina, make me think that these may be more recent than the Jewish production era. Although they are most definately in the style .. A style which I really like!

I recently went to see the enamelling processes in a village near to you. The glass used was from crushed chinese seed beads.. using the history of the available beads through recent history, this knowlege is really helpful to give 'time zones' to manufacturing times...
We are now in the chinese era!! following the Indian/Naga era in Morocco!!!!!!! Small world hey!!

...............................I took a bag of the first Chinese drawn chevrons to Morocco a few years ago, and gifted them to many of my jewellery dealing friends there.
Last month I was offered the very same beads in a shop in Guilez as ancient currency beads for 5000dh!! I wonder what he paid for them!!
I feigned wonderment at their age and beauty, and left!!
