  • Wonderful examples of Swami jewellery. Another instance where jewellery inspired by local pieces were produced solely for the Western market. These pieces combined Western design structures (such as the Victorian locket) with Indian motifs, and were very much in demand among non-Indian consumers. Much sought after by collectors today as well.
