  • When I looked at the photos (without clicking on them), I knew this was Dogon.  It is really a very nice one, I feel it is a pity that all Dogon pieces are made of iron (I know because of the belief in it s Special protective Qualities), but from the Western Point of view, iron is not so much appreciated for jewellery. That is a pity, because many Dogon pieces are very fascinating. (Have been climbing around a Little in the Dogonland some years ago.......)
