  • Wow.. this is stunning, possibly my favourite piece of jewellery. ( I wear one every day!)

Yours is stunning..a great piece congratulations.

  • A stunner Lynn,  I have had previously questioned these spikes and the answer was either fertility symbols or like ti constantly comes up in me,  protection bracelet,  slightly aggressive. Like on this one they are really asking for attention.

    Gr. Ingrid.

  • Thank you Sarah and Ingrid!  I have read that spikes on bracelets are spiritually protective; these are also physically protective!

Sarah have you posted your bracelet?  I would love to see.  I found very few examples of these bracelets photographed in detail.  Mostly they are shown as worn in the old photographs.  I studied them and I was able to find a few women that appear to be wearing this exact design.

  • Oh yes, I love these too - unfortunately beyond my means...A very beautiful piece, Lynn!

  • Dear Lynn, this is an absolute beauty - congratulations. Peter
  • Thank you for your warm comments, Betty and Peter.  Betty, this is probably beyond my means too but I found it as a sleeper in a live auction.

  • Great piece!

  • Thank you Joost!

  • I posted it on the "Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment page which" I run on Facebook. Do you know it> If not, go there - I have more than 23,000 viewers, and post copious numbers of images, You'd certaintly find it interesting.

  • That is very sweet of you Joost, thank you.  I will check it out.  I am saving credit card points to buy your book on Amazon.  :)
