The stringing looks like dreadlocks and feels like acrylic yarn. Note that the center cross is well complemented by the matching side crosses.

Thank you, it's all to common for dealers to cut these crosses off of their original stringing, very sad, but I can understand why they would think that the stringing has no worth. This piece is available for purchase.
